Adam PALMA – professor of musical arts, lecturer at the University of Salford in Manchester in the UK and at The Music Academy in Gdańsk in Poland. His status is recognised by world-famous musicians such as Al Di Meola, Tommy Emmanuel, and Biréli Lagrène – who invite him to participate in joint concerts. His album, ‘Adam Palma Meets Chopin’ (2019), was the first album to present Chopin’s pieces in arrangements for the acoustic guitar. The Chicago Tribune recognised Adam’s excellence and placed his album among the 10 most important jazz albums of the first half of 2020. ‘Second Life’ (2020) is the first-ever entire album feat. acoustic guitar & string orchestra. Adam is accompanied by one of the greatest chamber orchestras of our times, The Chamber Orchestra of Polish Radio AMADEUS, led by famous conductor, Agnieszka Duczmal. In 2020 Adam was awarded the Bronze ‘Gloria Artis’ for his contributions to Polish culture and a professorship by the president of Poland.
