I'm a 2021 graduate of Grand Canyon University's College of Doctoral Studies and wanted to use my experience to help other learners as they complete their studies and dissertations. I had a lot of great support throughout my doctoral program, even though I was an online student and am excited to give back to others following a similar journey. I started my doctoral studies in 2012 and took a long break from 2014 to 2019. When I started back up in 2019, I had a better sense of what I wanted to study and understand, which lead to my study examining the differences in work engagement between those who work at home versus those who work in the office and whether psychological capital (consisting of hope, optimism, resilience and self-efficacy) had any effect on their work engagement.
