Funny People Making Food
Comedy
FPMF is series hosted by chef, actor, and comedian Erica Wides. In each episode Erica invites herself into a comedian's home kitchen, where they cook together and discuss the finer points of food, comedy, and whether using white pepper means you’re racist. FPMF is a dash of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” with a pinch of “Dinner for Five”, plus an added splash of Erica’s super-secret sauce. Episodes are shot in the guest’s actual kitchen, where the guest reveals the dish they’d like to make, and they make it together. It could be a nostalgic childhood food or an updated version of their go-to recipe. As Erica and guest cook and kibbitz, viewers learn about a popular personality through a unique and intimate lens, and may even pick up a few cooking tips. There may be crying, there’ll definitely be laughing, and a whole lot of talking, preferably with their mouths full. Want more cooking tips?
