Balakhilya das has been practicing and teaching yoga and meditation for over 50 years. For the past 20 years, he has been traveling all over the world to share this knowledge with others. He has visited hundreds of cities and dozens of countries, holding various seminars and lectures and sharing valuable insights from the ancient yoga wisdom. Many years ago, Balakhilya became a disciple of two self-realized yoga masters, Bhaktivedanta Swami and Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa. The knowledge of yoga and the practice of meditation has changed Balakhilya's own life, as well as the lives of thousands of people who have met with and been greatly inspired by him. Balakhilya is placing special emphasis on the fact that to start meditating and practicing yoga, you don’t need to go into a forest, or leave all your possessions and relationships behind. The teachings and practices of the yoga lifestyle can easily be applied into one's everyday life, and the modern world we live in.
