Our Simple Life

Our simple life in Alaska We moved from a three bedroom, fully functional home, to a 375 square foot dry cabin, without an indoor toilet or shower. We got married in 2016, and decided to get rid of 2/3 of what we owned and live a simpler life with less things. Life with less felt so freeing that we continued the process of decluttering our home, our lives and our debt. We discovered that our home had become quite empty and we did not need all that space. We dreamed of building a tiny cabin and living a simple life with minimal things, having more time for relationships and experiences. We began our build in spring of 2018 and finished in the fall of 2019. We moved in, and are living that simple life we dreamed of. We are still working on becoming debt free, while living a simple life, and working towards a more minimalist lifestyle where we are focused more on Loving God, Loving Others and Loving Life.
