This channel is mainly about journeys by bike, mostly wild camping by Brompton. Some of my bikepacking journeys are short - 1-night cycle camps close to home, or 3-4 day journeys. Others are longer, eg 6-weeks through Sweden, which is my husband’s country, and 6-months from Hong Kong to London - cycling home was a nice thing to do after working in Asia for several years. Mostly I don't ride specific 'cycle routes', but I make a cycle camping trip out of journeys I want to do anyway, going to see friends & family, slowly. I love seeing "ordinary" places - taking maps & plotting a route through whatever lies between me and my destination. Everywhere is interesting. Sometimes I ride with other people. But mostly alone. I realise quite a lot of people think I'm mad or strange to be doing this - too old, a woman etc - and that it must be hard. So I thought I’d film the journeys, to show people why I like doing them, and to show that it’s mostly not hard at all. Thank you for watching!
