Why are my views dropping on my gaming channel?

I've been running my gaming channel for about 2.5 months and initially, I was getting between 1000 to 5000 views. Recently, my views have plummeted to around 100, despite my efforts in editing and maintaining quality. I'm confused about why this is happening and what I can do to improve my situation.

One crucial aspect I noticed is the importance of how topics are framed. Just because a video is on a popular subject doesn’t mean it will automatically perform well. For example, if you're doing a tier list, and your tier categories aren't aligned with what viewers expect, they might get confused and disengage. It’s vital to present content in a way that resonates with the audience's understanding.

I’ve learned that it's essential not to hide your content, no matter how disheartening the view count may seem. If your videos are genuinely good, they will eventually find their audience. You shouldn't be embarrassed about the numbers; every creator goes through ups and downs in visibility.

It’s easy to jump to conclusions like thinking you might be shadowbanned, especially when you see others in your niche thriving. However, I’ve come to realize that each channel’s growth trajectory can vary greatly due to many factors—timing, content type, and audience engagement. It’s essential to stay focused on your content and growth rather than comparing yourself to others.

From my experience, I realized that seasonal trends can significantly affect view counts. A lot of creators, including myself, see fluctuations based on the time of year. For instance, viewers are often busy with outdoor activities in summer, which might explain the drop in engagement during these months.

Moreover, I found that as viewers return to school or their routines, their viewing habits shift. If your target demographic is primarily young people, you might find that their available time decreases as they get back into their studies. This has been a common pattern I've noticed among channels in my niche.
