What is the best video editing software for simplifying my workflow?

I'm currently using a mix of Sony Vegas for timeline edits and After Effects for more complex tasks, including subtitles. I also use Fruity Loops for audio editing. While these tools work for me, I’m wondering if there’s a more straightforward way to handle my editing process. What video editing software do you suggest that could simplify my workflow?

I've been using DaVinci Resolve for all my video editing needs, and I find it incredibly powerful yet user-friendly. It consolidates many features, so I don't have to jump between different programs. Plus, it has a robust audio editing suite integrated into it, which means I can do all my editing in one place. If you're looking to simplify your workflow, this could be a great option.

If you're doing more straightforward edits or if you’re just starting out, something like iMovie on a MacBook might be perfect for you. It's surprisingly capable for basic editing and has a very user-friendly interface. I've not hit any limits with it yet, and it allows me to focus on content without getting bogged down by complex software.
