What editing software should I use for my beginner YouTube videos on iOS?

I'm planning to start making videos next week and I want to know what editing software is best for iOS. I already know my niche, but I'm unsure about which apps would suit my needs as a beginner.

For those of you planning to create horizontal or longer videos, KineMaster is another great option. While it's also a free app, be aware that it adds a watermark unless you opt for a paid subscription. However, the additional features you gain with the subscription might be worth it if you plan to produce more polished content as you grow.

If you have access to a Mac, I would suggest using iMovie or Final Cut Pro. iMovie is user-friendly and great for beginners, while Final Cut Pro is more advanced and offers professional editing capabilities. If you start with iMovie, you can easily transition to Final Cut Pro as your skills improve.

If you're looking for something user-friendly, I highly recommend CapCut. It's a fantastic choice for beginners because it's free and specifically designed for mobile editing. You can easily create both short-form content and longer videos, and the best part is that it allows direct exports to platforms like YouTube and TikTok. It's perfect if you're just starting out and want to get your videos out there quickly.
