Why is YouTube Support so unresponsive and automated?

I recently received a guideline warning for 'dangerous activity' and was frustrated by the lack of meaningful support from YouTube. I appealed my case but was rejected almost immediately, leading me to wonder why YouTube's support seems to rely heavily on automated systems rather than real human interaction. What are other creators’ experiences with YouTube support, and why does it seem so difficult to get a genuine response?

I also think that it’s a systemic issue across many companies today. They all seem to rely on automation to handle customer service, which can lead to a frustrating experience. YouTube likely has to handle millions of channels, and the sheer volume makes it impractical to provide personalized support for everyone. This lack of human interaction can leave creators feeling abandoned.

One thing I've noticed is that YouTube doesn't seem to have the resources to handle every query from smaller creators. It’s almost like they’re treating these channels as an expense rather than an investment. Once you reach a larger audience, like 500k to a million subscribers, then they might start to take your concerns more seriously. Until then, it's disheartening to realize your channel might not be worth their time.

From my experience, YouTube's support system is heavily automated, especially for smaller channels. It feels like they prioritize efficiency over actual support. When I reached out, I got responses that seemed to be generated by bots rather than someone who genuinely understood my situation. This seems to be a common theme; smaller channels are often not taken seriously, and their issues are dismissed quickly.
